Dear guests and friends of the hotel,

Enclosed you will find the security concept designed by us to stop the spread of the corona virus in our house and thus to offer you the highest possible security.

The measures and precautions consist of specifications for each department.

We have appointed two hygiene officers to implement the measures:

Both are available to you at any time as contact persons and are also responsible for checking, controlling and any resulting adjustments to the protective measures and safety precautions in the house.

Please note regardless of our measures! The Best Western Plus Hotel Erb and the Messe Boutique Hotel Erb are both located in the Ebersberg district near Munich and are therefore not affected by the special conditions currently regulated in the city of Munich! We have initiated the following measures across departments:

  • Prior to the start of each service, our employees are informed of all current guidelines and directives via the internal communication tool Hotel Kit.
  • Our employees always greet your guests positively, contactless and with a minimum distance of 1.50 m.
  • A guideline for our employees has been an integral part of our operational concept for several years and is still being used.
  • Employees who show illness-like symptoms (cough, fever, breathing difficulties, sniffles) are requested to consult their family doctor directly.
  • Before starting work, our employees wash and disinfect their hands and also at regular intervals of no more than one hour, observing the cleaning patterns and instructions given at the wash basins.
  • If we notice a guest with disease-like symptoms (coughing, fever, breathing difficulties, sniffles), our internal hygiene officers are informed directly, and they initiate all the appropriate steps.
  • All departments are obliged to wear a mouth guard at work.
  • As a matter of principle, all employees keep a distance of 1.50 m to guests and colleagues, despite the use of mouth protection, and strictly observe the coughing and sneezing etiquette.
  • Employees who do not follow the given rules and regulations are liable to prosecution and have to expect legal consequences in the hotel.

Our reception team takes care of the following:

  • At check-in, we will hand over a face mask (price per mask 1,50 €) to each guest with tweezers if necessary and ask them to wear it during their stay in the public areas of the hotel.
  • All utensils that we have made available to guests at reception (room cards, pens, credit card devices, etc.) are disinfected with a sterilizing agent or alternatively with disinfectant after each guest contact.
  • We always prefer if our guests use contactless payment.
  • Our reception will inform all guests about our parking concept at check-in. At least one parking space must be kept free between each car and a minimum distance of 1.50 m must be maintained. In addition, this is indicated by signs at the entrances!

Our housekeeping team will take care of the following:

  • When cleaning the rooms we wear gloves, which we change after each room.
  • We strictly adhere to the already existing cleaning and maintenance checklists for the entire house, aligned with the existing HACCP guidelines.
  • We always adhere to the internationally valid 4 color system for cleaning and disinfection.
  • For an indefinite period of time, we do not clean any accommodation rooms and do not offer a minibar, the room service will still be provided.
  • We clean all rooms with the following system: cloth change after each room / per work phase according to the size of the area.
  • All items that cannot be disinfected or replaced have been removed from the rooms for safety reasons.
  • When checking the rooms, we again make sure that they are additionally thoroughly disinfected (door handles, light switches, cupboard doors, clothes hangers, holders, toilet paper holders, handles, cosmetic mirror, towel holder, toilet, cistern, shower wall, hair dryer, soap dispenser, waste paper basket, toilet brush, safe, air conditioning, blinds, card slot, telephone, remote control, nightstand, chair, minibar, tray, lamp control).
  • In public areas we also pay additional attention to multiple disinfection (door handles, light switches, handles on drawers and cupboards, public toilets).
  • We always wear gloves when dealing with dirty laundry.
  • We clean all cleaning utensils washed in the house at a minimum temperature of 60°.
  • We work together with a certified laundry specialist shop, which ensures optimal cleaning of all textiles in the house.

Our kitchen team will take care for you:

  • We strictly adhere to the specified HACCP guidelines and cleaning lists.
  • We always wear kitchen gloves.
  • We always keep a minimum distance of 1.5 m between the kitchen and the service team.
  • The cleaning of dishes takes place at a minimum of 60°.
  • The cleaning of kitchen linen of any kind takes place at a minimum of 60°.
  • We always keep the inventory as low as possible to guarantee always fresh products.
  • We pay attention to the minimum distance to the supplier when delivering and checking the goods.
  • We refuse to accept food at the slightest sign of illness of the supplier.

Our service team takes care of the following:

  • We strictly adhere to the specified HACCP guidelines and cleaning lists.
  • When accepting table reservations for our ALMGRILL restaurant, it is mandatory to record the first name, surname and telephone number of each individual guest (for hotel guests already recorded in Protel, the first name and surname is sufficient).
  • Sitting together without maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 m is only permitted for those persons to whom the general contact restriction does not apply in relation to each other. Persons to whom the general contact restriction applies can still be placed at the same table, provided that the minimum distance is maintained between them.
  • Our guests must wear a mask when entering the restaurant, they are welcome to take it off at the table. When going to the toilet or outside the door to smoke, the guest must wear the mask again.
  • For an indefinite period of time we do not accept any checkroom and ask the guest to either hang it up in the checkroom at the reception or take it to the table.
  • We place each guest personally and accompany them to their assigned table.
  • When placing guests we always try to leave a table next to the guests.
  • We keep the contact with the guest at the table as small as possible and always try to keep the minimum distance of 1.5 m.
  • We clean and disinfect all utensils provided to the guest during the stay (e.g. menus) after each respective guest.
  • After each guest we clean and disinfect the table surfaces and edges as well as the chairs and benches and all other utensils that have come into contact with the guest.
  • According to experience often touched surfaces in the entire bar and restaurant area, such as door and window handles, light switches etc. are disinfected and cleaned depending on frequency.
  • We air regularly, but at least once an hour.
  • The cleaning of dishes takes place at a minimum of 60°.
  • The cleaning of service laundry of any kind takes place at a minimum of 60°.

Our banquet and event team will take care of the following:

  • We always make sure that there is a minimum distance of 1.50 m between the respective conference participants. For each conference room we have also introduced a person restriction, which guarantees each conference and event participant a space of at least 4 sqm.
  • Before the start of each event, we conduct a detailed briefing with the event management on the course of events and the circumstances.
  • Every conference participant receives a fresh mask for each conference day.
  • Coffee breaks are served per person in the form of a ready-made package of different components on one floor. Each plate is covered with household foil.
  • Hot drinks can be drawn by the guests at a coffee machine. This must be operated with a hygienic cloth.
  • There is no Fresh Up in the conference room, which we will enter again after the end of the conference.
  • At the end of each conference and conference day we disinfect all table surfaces and edges as well as the chairs and benches and all other utensils (pens, pads) that have come into contact with the guest.
  • We pay attention to an appropriate and regular ventilation of the conference room.

In our Almdorf Spa & Fitness area we take care of your safety as follows:

Sauna area

  • The opening hours are from Friday, June 26, 2020, from Monday to Sunday from 5pm to 10pm.
  • Please understand that until further notice we cannot accept any external guests to use the Almdorf Spa in order to give our hotel guests the appropriate priority. Thank you so much!

  • For the time being only the Finnish sauna (90°) is in operation for our house guests, we only switch it on at the request of the guests! External guests are not allowed to visit our Almdorf Spa until further notice.

  • The number of persons in the Almdorf Spa is limited to a maximum of 20 persons at the same time, so that we guarantee a number of 10 sqm per person. In total the wellness area including the relaxation room has a size of approx. 235 sqm.
  • To ensure the maximum number of persons we encode the access to the wellness area on extra room cards which our guests receive at the reception. The receptionist has to document the respective room number of the guest as well as the period of his stay in the wellness area and file it according to DSGVO and destroy it after 4 weeks at the latest.
  • The responsible housekeeping employee disinfects the wellness area as well as all door handles and other frequently used areas during his daily tour.
  • A window in the wellness area must always remain tilted and in addition the room must be thoroughly ventilated by the responsible housekeeping employee during his daily tour.
  • The responsible housekeeping employee must also check the quantity of disinfectant spray and disposable towels during his daily tour and refill them if necessary.

Fitness area

  • The fitness room is open for house guests throughout the day, external guests are not allowed to use our fitness area for the time being. Our staff is also not allowed to use the fitness equipment until further notice.
  • The fitness area may only be entered by a maximum of 2 persons at the same time and a safety distance of 1.50 m must always be maintained. Guests are informed of this by a sign at the entrance.
  • The opportunity for guests to disinfect is provided in the room.
  • There is also a disinfection spray and enough towels in the room.
  • The guests are advised to disinfect the sports equipment before and after use.
  • The responsible housekeeping employee disinfects the equipment as well as all door handles and other frequently used areas during his daily tour.
  • The window in the fitness room must always remain tilted and the room must also be thoroughly ventilated by the responsible housekeeping staff during the daily tour.
  • The responsible housekeeping employee must also check the quantity of disinfectant spray and disposable towels during his daily tour and refill them if necessary.
