Munich is the city of Trade Fairs and congresses. Bauma, Expo Real, IBA, Analytica, Inter Solar, ISPO, IAA and other international world-famous events are taking place over the year. If you’re booking a room in Best Western Plus Hotel Erb, you’re not only starting in a trade fair day rested, you’re also able to get there quickly!
The New Trade Fair Munich Riem consists of the three locations Trade Fair Munich, International Congress center and MOC Event Center. Due to the modul system it’s possible to take trough more than 300 exhibitions, trade fairs, meetings, congresses and other events every year. With more than two million visitors per year, the New Trade Fair ensures, that Munich is one of the biggest and most successfully Trade Fair locations of the whole world. In 2018 the area was expanded – the exhibition space in the 18 halls amounts 200.000 m², additional there are 400.000m² outdoor area.
The world is meeting in Munich. The ICM of the state capital, offers the frame for national and international congresses, general meetings and other events. The complex accommodates 20 halls, 12 meeting offices and a big foyer. The technical equipment counts to the most moderns of the world and enables to hold congresses with up to 3000 participants. The total capacity of all halls is 6000 people. It’s also possible to expand to 12.000 people if the adjacent Trade Fair halls are also used. The in-house catering enables top level catering.
The MOC or Munich Order Center is the event and ordercenter of the Munich Trade Fair. Around 100 congresses, meetings and corporate events with up to 400.000 visitors are taking place in the MOC every year. The infrastructure includes a restaurant, bistro and two kiosks.
At the same time, the MOC acts as a trading platform in the areas of sports, leather goods and shoes. Companies have the opportunity to present their collections in showrooms. The total exhibition area is about 20.500 m². The light-flooded architecture allows any kind of decoration. A total of 142 showrooms, two atriums plus a studio and six conference rooms are available.
